V.E.T.S.

The Veterans Entrepreneurial Training Seminars have been a vital part of our organization. It is a great way for veterans looking to start their own small business, or those who already own a business, to receive information and techniques that will empower them with the tools for success.

The seminars always include speakers from the SBA (Small Business Administration) and SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives). Along with the knowledge these fine organizations can offer a potential small business owner, other guest speakers include FranNet, lending institutions, the I.R.S. and the US Department of Commerce.

H.A.V.E.

Helping and Assisting Veterans in Emergency (H.A.V.E.) is one of our programs that allows for us to help our veterans on a more individual basis. By working hand-in-hand with county service officers and other agencies, we are able to assist veterans on a short-term, but beneficial basis. Because no one person or organization can know every specific need of every specific veteran--cooperation, coordination and a joint effort is the only way to begin to meet those needs.
